Churchill Fellow Dr Lisa Jardine-Wright, Tutor and Director of Studies in Physics, is co-directing the new Cambridge-based Rutherford Schools Physics Project (together with colleague Prof Mark Warner).
The project, supported by a grant of £6.9m from the Department for Education, will provide wider access to material that will help students with physics problem solving skills. It aims to bridge the gap between GCSE and university independent of school or social background, thereby increasing diversity in the students who choose to take physics at University.
