Just two weeks to go until the start of our 2018 Telephone Campaign when 14 current Churchill students will be working hard to raise money for the Churchill Annual Fund Campaign.
Find out about our important upcoming campaign from alumni Kate and Ben Brierton (U94), previous student caller Maria Copot and Development Director Fran Malarée in our new Campaign video below.
As always, the Telephone campaign provides our alumni with an enjoyable opportunity to share experiences of Churchill. It also provides us with an invaluable opportunity to hear what our alumni have gone on to do after leaving Churchill College.
We are committed to admitting the most talented students, whatever their background. This is why student support sits at the heart of this year’s Campaign, with priorities focused on undergraduate bursary support as well as hardship bursaries for all students, graduate accommodation and building our endowment for a sustainable future.
We always say that every gift makes a difference, no matter how small, but donations to Student Bursaries and the Graduate Accommodation Project both benefit from matching schemes this year, thanks to the generosity of two alumni. Alumnus Dr Adrian Hobden (U & G72) has once again generously offered to match fund, pound for the pound, the first £75,000 of donations raised for Student Bursaries during the Telephone Campaign and all donations made in support of the Graduate Accommodation Project before the 30 June will benefit from match funding up to £200k. Dr Hobden met with the Development team in late 2016 to talk about his motivation for supporting student bursaries in this way and you can watch his interview again by clicking on the button below.
