Mark Collier and John Jones. Porter Power sponsored walk.

Members of Churchill College have continued to generously help porters John Jones and Mark Collier raise money for Cancer Research. To date, their campaign has raised an impressive £5030.

Cancer has touched so many of our friends, family and colleagues. As many of you know Porter John Jones underwent treatment for his leukaemia a couple of years ago, which didn’t provide him with the lasting results we hoped for. He is shortly to start a revolutionary new treatment which has just been authorised for use in the UK, in fact, he will be the first person in the country to try this treatment, which his consultant is confident will yield lasting results.

We will keep you updated on his progress, but have every confidence that ‘Bones Jones’ will absolutely smash it! If you can spare a few pennies to support the pioneering work conducted by Cancer Research we would be so grateful for your contribution. Also if you are doing a fundraising activity, would you consider doing in the name of Porter Power for Cancer Research.

Both John and Mark would like to thank the Churchill community for all of their support and well wishes.
