Work on Cowan Court is moving ahead on schedule with the construction of the concrete walls for the stairwells well under way as you can see from the photos this week.
In two weeks’ time, the timber (glulam) frame begins to be erected on site and then the building will really begin to take shape. Construction of Cowan Court began in April and is expected to be completed on budget and on time for completion in July 2016.
Cowan Court — named in honour of alumnus and Benefactor Fellow, Michael Cowan, will provide on-campus accommodation for 68 more Churchill students, including 3 rooms specifically designed for disabled students.
