Biography


Anny studied Modern Languages at the Sorbonne in Paris and Linguistics in Cambridge. She is a specialist in innovative, direct and online language teaching methods and the use of audio-visual media. She has led several development projects for the production of online language learning materials, and has authored support material for various programmes including the BBC's 'Make French Your Business' and 'Make German Your Business' series; the French Foreign Affairs Ministry's online interactive game 'Retrouvez le sourire' and the BBC's 'Talk French' and 'French Experience 2' online support material.

Anny has been a Fellow of Churchill College since 1994. In 1990 she was awarded the distinction of Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes académiques by the French government for academic achievement and for services rendered to the French language and culture in Great Britain.
