Biography

Clara is a postdoctoral researcher at the Babraham Institute, where she studies the three-dimensional genome organisation in embryonic stem cells. Clara’s research focuses in understanding the molecular mechanisms responsible for genome stability and nuclear organization. After completing her PhD at the University of Leicester (UK), Clara moved to the Institute Curie in Paris (France) to study the replication and organisation of telomeres and then to the Institute GIGA in Liege (Belgium) to study the epigenetic alterations of telomeres in cancer cells. In parallel, she explores art as a vehicle for science communication and engagement with the public.
