Eleanor is undertaking a Career Development Fellowship at CEDAR, working with Dr Esther van Sluijs and Prof Martin White. Eleanor’s research focuses on the trajectories of diet and dietary behaviours from adolescence to early adulthood. She is investigating changes in diet and dietary behaviour over this period, and how such changes are linked to different life transitions, for example leaving education, entering employment, or changes in living arrangements.

Eleanor joined the Behavioural Epidemiology group at CEDAR in October 2015. Prior to this she worked at RAND Europe where her research covered a wide range of topics including alcohol marketing, the interface between primary and acute healthcare services, and liaison and diversion of offenders with mental health needs. Eleanor completed her PhD in 2010 at the Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair, focusing on the development of new neurons in the postnatal brain.
