Francesco Boselli is a postdoc in the Lab of Prof. Ray Goldstein in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.

Educated at Politecnico di Milano, he was a PhD student at ETH Zurich, where he completed a thesis on the fluid dynamics of the inner ear. He then moved to the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC) in Strasbourg, where he worked as postdoc on the role of mechanical forces in heart development.

Francesco’s research interests focus on biophysical fluid dynamics and the role of mechanical forces in the regulation and development of biological systems, involving both experiments and theory.
