George is a post-doctoral research associate at the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication. His research is mainly on judgment and decision-making, and is currently focussed on how people perceive risk. He has also published work on decision-making in autism, and on how people perceive randomness.

He has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Manchester, and previously studied at the University of Sussex and University College London.
