Biography


Mr Greg Lock is Chairman, ComputaCenter since July 2008 and is a Non-Executive Director of United Business Media since 2010 and of The Locks’ Common Company. He is also a trustee of the Greg and Rosie Lock Foundation.

He is former Chairman of Kofax PLC (recently bought by Lexmark) and Chairman of SurfControl PLC, Orchestream PLC and Nexagent PLC; he was also a Non-executive director of Target Group PLC.

Mr Lock served as Global General Manager, Industrial Sector at IBM Corporation, until April 2000. In a 30-year career at IBM, Mr Lock lived in the U.S.A., France, Germany, and the UK. He served as a member of the IBM Worldwide Management Council and as a Governor of the IBM Academy of Technology.

Mr Lock holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Churchill College, Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce.

Greg has also helped to set up and now funds an endowed bursary scheme for students from South Wales and he and his wife Rosie also contributed to the new court development Cowan Court.
