Santiago Esconjauregui is a post-doctoral researcher investigating the large area growth of chemical vapour deposited nanomaterials (including nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, and graphene) for applications in microelectronics.

His main research focuses on the surface growth of carbon nanotube forests for interconnects applications. He is based at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics (Department of Engineering) and works with Prof. John Robertson. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from "Universidad Tecnológica Nacional" (Argentina), a Master of Sciences in Materials for Information Technologies from "Univerisitá di Pavia" (Italy), and a Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom).
