Yan Wang is a researcher in Materials Science department at the University of Cambridge. Her research primarily focuses on fundamental studies of atomically thin two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides. She is especially interested in the interaction of three-dimensional metal contacts with two-dimensional semiconductors in order to improve the electrical and optical characteristics of these atomically thin semiconductors. Before this, she received PhD in Materials Science, at Darwin College.
