About

In 2015 Churchill College launched the Churchill Enterprise Competition to help identify and support the best business ideas of current Churchill students and alumni.

The winning entry was awarded £1000 and business mentoring from a panel of entreprenurially successul Churchill alumni.

Churchill College Enterprise, led by alumnus Simon Jones has now launched a new programme of events designed to offer a broader approach to developing and supporting the entrepreneurial skills of current students and alumni.

"For those who want to 'make things better', having a great idea is just the beginning. To really make an impact, you need to be able to communicate your idea, persuade people to help you, plan and organise your project...and much more. And this is where Churchill Enterprise can help you. We want to help you develope the skills needed to make sure your ideas are developed into solutions to help make a better world — whether you choose to go on to start your own business, work for an existing business, or be involved in not-for-profit organisations"

Dr Tim Minshall (Dr John C Taylor Professor of Innovation)

Churchill Business Network events

We are also seeking to engage and connect with our talented alumni through the launch of the Churchill Business Network — a new initiative to bring together alumni working in business in its broadest sense, including entrepreneurs, those in fintech, financial services, and the corporate sector generally.

There will be two or three meetings of the network per year, normally in London, with a speaker who is an alumnus/a or current Churchill Fellow with an interesting insight into new economic or technological opportunities.

Please contact the Development Office if you would like to join the Network or get involved in mentoring current students or alumni who would like to build their entrepreneurial skills.
