Squash club

Squash is the 2nd most popular non-olympic sport worldwide and is hugely popular at Churchill!

We are one of the few colleges to have courts on our main site and are lucky enough to have 4 courts. Courts can be booked at the Porters' Lodge and squash racquets should be available for hire from the JCR Equipment Officer via the Porters.

As well as being immensely popular worldwide, squash is commonly referred to as "the world's healthiest sport" and play occurs within the college across all levels. So come along, book a court and play some squash!

If you're interested in competitive squash you've hit the jackpot! We currently have three teams in the inter-college league for which trials are held in the first week of Michaelmas term, however teams are up for change at any point throughout the year! We also compete in the squash Cuppers.

All are welcome, whether you're a pro or have never held a squash racquet before! There are loads of ways to get involved; join the ChuSquash group on Facebook (where the College ladder is found), email the Captain, or, most easily, pick up a racquet and just try it with a friend!
