Anthony Bainbridge is an engineer who has learned how to turn his mistakes to his advantage. With a Cambridge PhD behind him he gained 23 years’ experience in the aerospace sector, initially with MoD and DTI, later with British Aerospace as business manager in electronic navigation systems.

Since the early 90s he has been a business consultant specialising in technology development and management policy in engineering companies. He is active on behalf of the Institution of Engineering & Technology, as guide and adviser to engineers seeking professional registration.

As a volunteer business mentor he coaches executives in growing companies on the activities and priorities for success. He is a Teaching Fellow with the Engineering School at the University of Bath, and Board member and trustee for Mathematics in Engineering and Industry (MEI). He is Diptera Recorder for Wiltshire, and when time allows he drinks good wine and rings bells, but not at the same time.
