It wasn’t originally my first choice, but now that I’m here I can’t imagine it any other way! Everyone is so friendly – whether they be fellow students, academics or staff members, and there are so many opportunities to get involved in whatever you are interested in.
I have absolutely loved my time at Churchill! There is so much on offer all around College – whether it be sports, music, drama or politics. Plus there is such a great community feel in the College amongst both students and academics.
I have loved being on the JCR Committee so much that I have held 3 different positions! It’s a great way to get to know students throughout the college as well as make a genuine difference to college life. I think one of the best things about Churchill is how keen the college is to involve students and hear their opinions. They always make sure we are consulted and informed about any changes going on in college. The college staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful in their interactions with the JCR, and I would strongly encourage any current or future students to get involved.
I would definitely recommend Churchill College to other students. It wasn’t originally my first choice, but now that I’m here I can’t imagine it any other way! Everyone is so friendly – whether they be fellow students, academics or staff members, and there are so many opportunities to get involved in whatever you are interested in.
