Postdoctoral By-Fellows

Manon Flageat is a Research Associate in AI and Robotics at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, working with Professor Amanda Prorok.

Her research explores how to use AI algorithms to generate control strategies for robots, with the aim of making them more resilient and versatile for real-world scenarios. Manon works with both single-robot systems, learning to perform tasks alone, and multi-robot systems, where teams of robots must coordinate to solve problems. She is particularly interested in understanding and leveraging the advantages that behavioural diversity, such as different control strategies and movement gaits, offers in learning for robotics.

Manon holds a PhD in AI and Robotics from the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, where she was supervised by Dr Antoine Cully.
