Breakfast with the Master at The Goring: Rise & Shine, Churchill Alumni!

May 20 @ 8:30 am 10:30 am

The Master of Churchill College,Professor Sharon Peacock , warmly invites you to join her for a special alumni breakfast at The Goring in London (15 Beeston Place SW1W 0JW) on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at 8:30am.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Churchill alumni and College representation, enjoy lively conversation, and network in a truly unique and historic setting.

We are particularly delighted to host this gathering at The Goring, one of London’s last remaining family-owned hotels, renowned for its timeless elegance and deep historical connection to Sir Winston Churchill. During the Second World War, The Goring served as a discreet meeting place for Churchill and Allied leaders, contributing to its reputation as a site of wartime diplomacy. Moreover, Lady Randolph Churchill, Winston’s mother, was a resident of the hotel, which he frequently visited—creating a personal and enduring link between the Churchill family and The Goring.

In recognition of this shared heritage, we have been offered a special opportunity to hold our alumni breakfast at this iconic venue, continuing the tradition of fostering connections inspired by Churchill’s legacy.

Places are limited, so we kindly ask you to RSVP by 1 May 2026 to secure your place.
