Dr. Ziyu (Claude) Liu is an Early Career Research Fellow at Churchill College and an affiliated lecturer at the Cambridge Faculty of Law. He obtained his PhD in Law at the University of Cambridge in 2023. He also holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge, a JD from the University of Hong Kong, and a BA from the University of Toronto. His research interests include general jurisprudence (with a particular focus on jurisprudential methodology), philosophical pragmatism, and the philosophy of language. His works in jurisprudence have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Cambridge Law Journal, Law and Philosophy, and the Canadian Journal of Law & Jurisprudence. In spare time he enjoys listening to classical music and reading Chinese literature.
