Salaries and Performance Reviews

Churchill College operates a role evaluation system and all posts are assigned a grade, within an incremental pay-scale. This provides the opportunity for pay-progression. If you are in the bottom part of the scale for your grade, you get an annual increment (meaning pay increases by roughly 3% over and above any cost-of-living increase). We also reward effort and achievement through our Performance Awards scheme, which gives pay increases in recognition of excellent performance. Cost-of living increases are negotiated with staff and union representatives once a year.

The College also has voluntary partnership agreement with the GMB Union and consults with the union on pay rises and changes to employment terms and conditions.
