Frank Hahn Fellowship in Economics
Frank Hahn was an Economist of international stature whose attachment to Churchill College has been both unstinting and hugely fruitful. His presence attracted the young economists in Cambridge and the future Nobel laureates from the USA such as Kenneth Arrow, Robert Solow and Eric Maskin.
Frank was a Founding Fellow, Director of Studies and College Lecturer in Economics.
The Hahn Junior Research Fellowship aims to attract the brightest and best to come to Cambridge to pursue their research and at the same time provide stimulating teaching for Churchill undergraduates.
You can assist the future generations of Churchill Economists by helping us to raise the £1 million needed to endow the Hahn Fellowship in Economics. Please do contact the Development Director if you would like to discuss this further or gifts can be made using the Donate Online functionality at the bottom of the page.
Although we have yet to reach this target we have put some of the raised funds to use to support Economics teaching and research in the College and Professor Alexey Onatski was elected the first Frank Hahn Fellow in Economics in October 2014.
