Engineering a Better World InternshipsÂ
The Royal Academy of Engineering is seeking talented and enthusiastic students for the third year of Engineering a Better World Internships.
- Fully funded work placement
- 6-8 weeks (8 weeks preferred)
- Open to Phys/Bio Natsci, Maths, Comp Sci, Engineers, Chem Eng
- Applications from JCR and MCR welcomed
- JCR recommended to apply for the summer after 2+ years of studies
- Deadline Extended: Tuesday 8 Feb 2023 12pm (GMT)

What could I be doing on an EABW internship?
- Support entrepreneurs with technical assistance
- Enable exchange of knowledge through partnership
- First-hand experience of working in multicultural teams to solve practical problems and use creativity to address real, meaningful challenges
- Inspiration for pursuing a career in challenge-led innovation for sustainable development
- Previous EABW projects:
- Modifying the STEM curriculum for school students in Kenya.
- Designing and manufacturing water metering systems in Tanzania.
- Providing distributed renewable energy services in Zambia.
- Machine-learning and data analysis at a fintech startup in Kenya
