Sir John Boyd tree dedication

We are delighted to invite you to a special event celebrating the life and legacy of Sir John Boyd, who served as the fifth Master of Churchill College from 1996 to 2006. A distinguished diplomat and former Ambassador to Japan, Sir John brought a fresh perspective to the role of Master and helped forge new connections that enriched the College community.
To honour his decade of leadership and service, the College will be dedicating a number of cherry blossom trees within the grounds, creating a lasting and fitting tribute to his influence and his ties to Japan.
The dedication ceremony will take place on Friday 10 April at 12.05pm at Churchill College, followed by a buffet lunch the Fellows Dining Room.
