Dr Carmel McEniery is a College Fellow and Lecturer in Physiology. She is also a Senior Research Associate in the Clinical Pharmacology Unit, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where she holds a British Heart Foundation Intermediate Research Fellowship. Her main research interests centre around cardiovascular physiology and in particular, the factors regulating arterial stiffness in humans. She is also leading the Enigma Study, a large, long-term study involving Cambridge undergraduates, investigating the factors predicting the development of high blood pressure in later life.
