Dr Donald Bello Hutt
Donald is an Assistant Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of Valladolid, Philosophy Department, and a Research Collaborator at the KU Leuven Institute of Philosophy in Belgium. He works in legal and political philosophy with a focus on constitutionalism and democratic theory.
He holds degrees in Law (LL.B, Universidad Austral de Chile), Philosophy (MA and PhD in Philosophy, Universities of Valladolid and Salamanca), and Politics (PhD, King’s College London)
His work has been published in the Hague Journal on the Rule of Law, the International Journal of Constitutional Law, the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, Theoria (Sweden), Ratio Juris, Jurisprudence, Revus, among others.
Donald sits at the editorial board of Revus: Journal for Constitutional Theory and Philosophy of Law, and of Torres de Lucca: International Journal of Philosophy. He has also been a visiting researcher at UCL (Laws), the Tarello Institute for Philosophy of Law in Genoa, and at the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies in Madrid
