Maziyar (Mazi) Jalaal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), University of Cambridge, and at the Institute of Physics, University of Amsterdam. He studied at the University of British Columbia, with postdoctoral training at the University of Twente and the University of Cambridge. He works at the interface of fluid mechanics, rheology, and soft/active biological matter.
