Dr Talal Fazmin trained in medicine at Churchill College, where he also completed an intercalated degree in Physiology. He has supervised undergraduate students since 2018 and was appointed a Teaching By-Fellow in 2022. In 2023, he commenced specialty training in Cardiothoracic Surgery in the East of England and is currently based at Royal Papworth Hospital. His academic interests lie in clinical medicine and surgery. Since 2024, he has served as Director of Studies in Preclinical Medicine, overseeing third-year medical students undertaking Part II subjects of the Natural Sciences Tripos.
