On International Womens’ Day, Churchill is hosting its first Women in STEM Dinner. This is intended as a celebration of Churchill’s women in STEM, and to build community between disciplines and career stages.

At dinner, seating is mixed, JCR, MCR, SCR and alumni, making this the perfect opportunity to make new connections with like-minded people from all different career stages.

Programme

From 6:15 – Register and collect name badge on the concourse, and head over to the Jock Colville Hall.

6:30–7:30 – Short talks from a few of our inspiring women in STEM, past and present. Opening remarks by the Master, Professor Dame Athene Donald. Followed by drinks reception.

7:30 – Formal dinner (common table alumni/Fellows/students). There will be a seating plan.

Afterwards – Post-dinner drinks in the Buttery

 

How to book

Alumni:

Use the form below. The cost for the reception and dinner with wine or soft drink is £35 for alumni (and up to one guest each). This includes a donation to subsidise the cost for students, so the event is inclusive whatever their circumstances.

JCR/MCR members:

Book via the special form for this event. Look out for an email with a booking form and do not book through the usual Formal booking system.

SCR members:

Please book in for 8 March using the usual High Table booking system.
