Thank you for supporting Giving Day 2024
Churchill College’s third Giving Day took place on 14 – 15 February 2024, bringing together our global community of alumni, students, Fellows and staff to celebrate love, health and wellbeing at Churchill College, with 36 hours of fundraising for Student Support and Student Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Over 230 donors made gifts totalling £67,000, and more than £77,700 of match funding was unlocked, taking the College’s third Giving Day’s fundraising total past £145,000.
84% of donations came from alumni and 30 people made their first gift to the College.
More than £8,000 was donated to the Graduate Studentship Endowment Fund and the Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund received over £13,000 of support. Over £54,000 was raised for the Student Support Fund to help undergraduate students, with the remaining donations being directed to the Think Forward Fund.
Over one hundred photographs were sent into the Alumni and Development office to be part of the LoveChu display in the Buttery celebrating the hundreds of “Churchill Couples”, and a digital “Medical Montage” was compiled to show the incredible impact that Churchill alumni are making on the medical world.
