New graduate housing opened
- The new graduate housing at 36 Storey’s Way is opened in September 2019 by the Vice-Chancellor, Stephen Toope
- The housing cost £5million, £3million was donated by alumni and friends of the College
- Elizabeth de Marrais is appointed as the first woman to be tutor for Advanced Students, thereafter to be know as Postgraduate students’ tutor
- The Xiaotian Fu (G06) garden is opened at 70 Storey’s Way
- Spring Ball becomes biennial
- First alumnus entry in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, Christopher Marshall (1949-2015)
- First alumna is elected a Fellow of the British Academy, Rebecca Herrisone (U89)
