With a 42 acre campus - the largest college site in Cambridge - Churchill is set on the edge of the bustling city centre, close to a number of University departments and amenities.
Just a short bike ride from the city centre, the campus is served by a huge variety of self-contained facilities and services, and is home to an active community of students and academics.
Prospective students are welcome to visit Churchill informally, most days (including weekends), between 09:00 and 17:00. Due to ongoing COVID precautions and to avoid disappointment, please contact our Porters’ Lodge (reception area) in advance, so we know when you are intending to come:
+44 (0) 1223 336000 / firstname.lastname@example.org
When you arrive, go to the Porters’ Lodge at the front of College, to let our Porters know that you’re thinking about applying and would like to have a look around. The Porters will then be able to give you a map, so you can get your bearings. The College’s private areas, such as accommodation and the Library, are not available to drop-in visitors but you can get a great sense of the College as an environment by looking around its public spaces. There’s more information about Churchill on our virtual tour, including about our accommodation, etc., at https://www.chu.cam.ac.uk/study-us/undergraduates/schools-and-colleges-liaison/virtual-visits-year-12-introduction-cambridge/. Our prospectus is at www.chu.cam.ac.uk/prospectus
