The Chapel at Churchill

The Chapel at Churchill is an inclusive and welcoming space. All events are free and open to everyone regardless of creed or college membership. Tea and cakes are served free of charge after every event. On the Music & Words Sundays there will be a short, said service in the Vestry at 5.15pm.

At other times the Chapel building is available as a place for quiet contemplation or prayer openable by all members of Churchill College. It can be booked for music practice or other agreed activities and there are booking details on the Chapel website.

For queries about the Chapel or services please contact:

The Chaplain – The Rev’d Canon Nigel Cooper, nsc47@cam.ac.uk

Chair of the Chapel Trust – Dr Martyn Johnson, maj1@cam.ac.uk

Inter Alios Choir

The Inter Alios choir perform every Sunday of term, alternating between an Anglican Evensong and a unique ‘Music & Words’ event which combines choral music, poetry and a short address. ‘Inter Alios’ translates as ‘among others’ and speaks to the collective spirit of the choir: inter-faith, inter-collegiate, and international. In our programming we seek to juxtapose well-known choral works with contemporary repertoire, particularly music by women composers.

The choir welcomes singers with a wide range of experience, with most of our members being un-auditioned, but with an auditioned chamber choir at its core. If you wish to sing in the choir or to audition for the chamber choir or for a Choral Scholarship with Murray Edwards or Churchill, please contact:

Director of Music – Dr Ewan Campbell, eahc2@cam.ac.uk

Organ Scholar – Jerry Lin

Assistant Conductor – Rosie Dunn
