The Møller Centre is a dedicated, purpose-designed, residential leadership development and conference centre located on the grounds of Churchill College.
The Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Centre for Continuing Education was formally opened by Her Majesty, Queen Ingrid of Denmark, on Friday, 2nd October, 1992. The Centre was built with a generous donation to Churchill College by the A.P. Møller & Chastine Mc-Kinney Møller Foundation.
Mr Møller felt that Denmark’s safety during the Second World War and prosperity afterwards had depended on Churchill’s personal involvement and so he proposed the concept of a ‘Centre for Excellence’. He believed that, with access to the full educational and research resources of the University of Cambridge, the Centre would be able to offer the highest standard of continuing education to leaders and aspiring leaders.
The Møller Centre team also work with people who organise key residential business meetings, development programmes and conferences and who are looking to inspire their teams or customers. The highly experienced team Møller Venue team give clients complete peace of mind by fully understanding their objectives and then deploying the precise blend of support and care they need. The Scandinavian design of the Centre provides a light, clean and airy environment to learn within, and the facilities include a wide variety of air-conditioned meeting rooms and en-suite bedrooms overlooking the beautiful grounds of Churchill College. The Centre is a regular winner of the ‘Best UK Management Training Centre’ and offers a collaborative learning environment, first-class customer service; phenomenal food; state-of-the-art tech support and on-site accommodation.
