The Møller Institute

The Møller Institute is the leadership development institute at Churchill College and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the College. The Møller Institutes profits are covenanted back to the Churchill College for investment in undergraduate and graduate education and student support.

The Møller Institute provides space and context for the development of current and future leaders in government, industry, academia and civil society, through a bespoke approach to leadership, strategy and innovation.

The Institute was created with a donation to Churchill College from a foundation established by the Danish shipping magnate Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller, in memory of Sir Winston Churchill’s leadership during World War II, and in view of the College’s tradition of excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Recognised as a pioneer in the field of leadership development, the Institute is a beacon of client service and best practice in programme design and delivery. Through threir executive education programmes, they have hosted many of the world’s senior leaders and many of the most influential thinkers in the field of leadership and organisational development.

Their purpose is to inspire individuals to be the best they can be, to accelerate the performance of the organisations they serve and to have a positive impact on society and the wider world.

Residential programmes are conducted at the Institute’s purpose-built facility on the beautiful grounds of Churchill College, providing first-class accommodation, conferencing and dining facilities, and delivering the best possible service and support to each participant. In addition to in-person programmes, they offer a fully online and blended approach, all incorporating the use of appropriate tools to create the best learning opportunities.
