Christophe Gagne is Fellow in French at Churchill and a Senior Language Teaching Officer in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages. He is Director of Studies for Year Abroad and Part II students. Christophe teaches French language at all levels of the Tripos. His teaching involves French grammar, translation into French, French contemporary culture. Christophe recently co-wrote a book on English-French Translation, published by Routledge. He is interested in the relationship between French and English, with a particular focus on pragmatics and intercultural communication. Christophe supervises Churchill students for the IA orals, IB Audio-visual paper, YA projects and Part II Identity paper (FRC2).
