Lydia Luckevich, Director, Riviere Charitable Foundation.

Lydia Luckevich is an Inorganic Chemist whose scientific career spanned 30 years as a scientist, manager and consultant in contract research and development. Since retirement in 2013, she has focused on philanthropy through The Riviere Charitable Foundation, a family charity incorporated in 2006 by Lydia and her late husband, Don Pinchin. Riviere has made major gifts to Churchill College, (Cambridge), the University of Cambridge and the University of Guelph. It provides ongoing support to a variety of cultural and educational institutions as well as multiple charities with initiatives in the Third World. Riviere’s most recent initiatives relate to support for research into honeybee health and support for documentary filmmaking.
