After the success of our writing competition back in April 2020, we launched, at the end of January 2021, a photo competition with the following theme: capturing life during lockdown 3. Everyone had the chance to send us three photographs best describing their third lockdown.

After careful consideration, we are delighted to announce the two chosen winners:

Imogen Cox with “masked’

Rory Gleeson with “Dad’s stethoscope, Mum’s webcam”

A black and white photo of a young woman wearing a face covering, looking directly into the camera.

“Masked” by Imogen Cox

A woman sits in an office chair at a desk taking part in an online meeting on her computer. At her feet a toddler sits on the floor playing with a stethoscope.

“Dad’s stethoscope, Mum’s webcam” by Rory Gleeson.

The winners will each be receiving £50 in gift vouchers.

Entries of all participants will become part of history as they are being added to the archive as a record of life during these difficult times.

Thank you for your participation.
