The University has recently announced the creation of a new Design Tripos, which will be launched with students beginning the course in 2024.
The new course will be interdisciplinary, bringing together elements from engineering, architecture and materials science in a problem-solving-based course. It will look at practical ways to meet challenges facing humanity that require ‘a holistic understanding of the world’.
The new Tripos, which will lead to a new qualification of Master of Design (MDes), will be offered at Churchill, and it is anticipated that the new Bill Brown Creative workshops will make the College an attractive place for its students as it has the same interdisciplinary approach.
