Churchill receives Platinum award for the fourth year in a row at the Green Impact Awards

Last week, Members of the College attended the virtual Green Impact Awards where we received a Platinum Award for the fourth year running.

The ninth year of Green Impact at the University of Cambridge was launched, completed, and celebrated, during a world pandemic, and the awards ceremony itself was held virtually on the 14^th July.

Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the Green Impact team handed out 49 awards to 47 teams across the University. The greatest-ever number of awards that they had presented previously at Cambridge was 50, and it was acknowledged that achieving 49 during such a disruptive year was an exceptional team effort.

A huge thank you to all of the Churchill community who have worked so hard to ensure our sustainability standards have remained so high despite a very turbulent 12 months.
