I’m Supervisor in Spanish at Churchill and a Fellow of Spanish at St Catharine’s College, which means that I usually teach students studying my areas of interest in both Colleges. My research and teaching interests relate mostly to Latin America, especially the film and literature of Colombia, Argentina and Mexico. I have a particular interests in women’s writing, popular culture and the representation of cities. I have published widely in these areas and my most recent book is an co-edited volume on Latin American Popular Culture: Politics, Media, Affect (Tamesis, 2013).
