Congratulations to…

…Honorary Fellow Sir Paul Nurse on being awarded the Order of Merit by King Charles III in recognition of his distinguished service to science. There are only 24 members of the Order at any one time.

…Fellow Dame Polly Courtice, Emeritus Director of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), on being awarded an Honorary Doctorate from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway for her work in the field of sustainability.

…Fellow Dr Sander Van der Linden on the launch of his book: ‘Foolproof: Why We Fall for Misinformation and How to Build Immunity‘. Sander has also been named as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate and a Rising Star of Science by Research.com.

…By-Fellow Dr Ramit Debnath has received a Google Cloud Climate Innovation Challenge Research Grant to support computation for public understanding of Climate change. (Read more about Ramit’s research on the University website.)

…current PhD student Krishanu Day (G18) on being awarded the Hudswell International Research Scholarship from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
