Moving Mountains conference 2018: The power of physical activity on both physical and mental wellbeing

Building on Moving Mountains 2015 and 2016, the Moving Mountains 2018 Conference’s main theme is Mental Health and the Power of Exercise. Friday 2 November 2018, Churchill College, Cambridge.

The Spy Who Changed History — Archives By-Fellow Svetlana Lokhova on the impact of Soviet infiltration in US universities

Based on considerable new archival research from documents and papers held at The Churchill Archives Centre, Svetlana's book concentrates on a period of academic espionage in US universities during the Cold War and dating back to before the ‘Magnificent Five’ Cambridge spy ring.

Visit from Cambridge University’s Insight Schools Programme

Each summer, Churchill Archives Centre hosts a visit from students following the Arts and Humanities stream of the University’s Insight programme. This year, Rosie Poser, who was at the Archives Centre for a couple of days’ work experience, made the selection of facsimile documents to show the Insight group.

2018 Telephone Campaign update

From the 23 June – 8 July 14 current students at Churchill were kept extremely busy in the 2018 Telephone Campaign Call room.The days were long, hot and sunny but our students enjoyed a wide range of wonderful conversations with 645 alumni, a record 52% of whom decided to make a gift in support of the Campaign.
