Your support

Gifts from alumni and friends of Churchill help us to boost the income from our endowment and, in turn, increase our operating budget, which is critical in providing the best college experience for Churchill students today.

Your support creates opportunities for future Churchillians by providing scholarships and bursaries for undergraduate and graduate students alike. The best provision attracts the best students and will see Churchill go from strength to strength as an academic institution and a nurturing community.

Affiliation with Churchill starts the day you come up to Cambridge. As a Churchillian you continue to be part of the College community today and are truly an integral part of its history. Please play a part in shaping its future by supporting us now.

Leaving a Legacy

“While I respect those who are generous to charities whose purpose is to alleviate immediate needs, I believe it may ultimately be more effective to support education at the highest level. Real long term changes will depend on deeply compassionate and highly talented men and women. That is what I hope to encourage in future generations of Churchillians.” Michael Lewis, alumnus and donor

A legacy or bequest is one of the most personal gifts that you can give. Through a legacy you can make a direct and lasting contribution to the future of Churchill College.

Invested in a special endowment fund, your legacy can support a fellowship, scholarship, a new building or restore the fabric of the College thereby creating a lasting memorial.

Many of you who would like to give a substantial donation to College are unable to do so because of present financial commitments. Remembering Churchill in your Will offers you the opportunity to make this gift.
