Not only do Formal Hall dinners offer the opportunity to have a change from the regular College dinners but they also offer the chance to talk with and meet fellow College members in a slightly more formal, but still relaxed, environment.
Formal Halls are on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays starting at 7.30pm and consist of a three-course served meal with coffee. Prices for these evenings are The price is £13.80 for College members and £14.85 for guests, and wine is not provided.
Students are allowed to bring one bottle of wine between two people to Formal Halls. This rule is strictly enforced and the Hospitality Managers will confiscate any excess alcohol. High Table will dine with the students in the hall on Formal Hall nights.

To attend these events, please sign up no later than 24 hours on Monday to Friday and 48 hours on Sunday in advance via the Formal Hall booking system. Once signed in you will be charged unless you cancel within the cancelation deadline.
